Outer Hub Oil Seal

The wheel hub, also called the rim or steel ring, is a round metal part that supports the tire inside the tire. Automobile tires and wheels generally have strict size qualification standards. After the tire is inflated, the internal pressure increases and presses firmly on the wheel hub, thereby achieving a sealing effect. The purpose of the wheel hub seal is mainly to ensure that the sealing between the tire and the wheel hub is not destroyed, prevent gas leakage, maintain the stability of the tire pressure, and ensure driving safety. In addition, the outer wheel hub oil seal is also an important component, which is used to prevent oil leakage from the wheel hub and protect other components from damage so that they can operate normally.

The outer hub oil seal is an important component on the automotive wheel hub. Its main function is to prevent oil leakage and external impurities from entering the interior of the wheel hub. It is usually made of rubber materials, with nitrile rubber (NBR) and fluororubber (FKM) being the most common rubber materials, and needs to fit tightly against the wheel hub assembly when in use. Its structure includes a lip that contacts the rotating axis of the wheel to prevent lubricating oil from leaking out of the assembly, which can cause bearing wear. The seal is also designed to prevent dirt, dust and other contaminants from entering the interior of automotive components, which can seriously damage automotive bearings and other parts.

During the product testing phase, our outer hub oil seal can operate stably for a long time between -40℃ and 180℃. The reinforced metal frame still has no wear and leakage in a 100,000-kilometer road test environment. It is a very cost-effective oil seal product and can be called a "mobile joint protection shield" for engineering vehicles and mechanical equipment.
