Push-Type Fender Liner Clip
The mudguard is a panel structure installed behind the outer frame of a vehicle's wheel. It is typically made from rubber material, offering excellent weather resistance. Its primary function is to prevent mud and debris from splashing onto the vehicle body during driving, thereby maintaining aesthetic appeal. More importantly, without a mudguard to block debris, small stones can become lodged in the wheel well, and at high speeds, these stones may be flung onto the car's body, damaging the paintwork.

The expansion push-in clip is a commonly used fastener for securing mudguard linings. This type of clip expands once inserted into the designated mounting hole, with barbed features that lock it firmly in place to prevent detachment. Standard universal push-in mudguard liner clips are suitable for mounting bases with approximately 8mm diameter holes (according to manufacturer specifications, with common sizes being 6mm, 8mm, and 10mm; Japanese Honda vehicles typically use 8mm holes, while German cars may utilize 10mm). The conical design ensures secure fastening and strong vibration resistance, offering advantages such as lightweight construction and easy installation. These clips are compatible with over 90% of vehicle models on the market.
When installing push-in mudguard clips, follow these steps: first, clean the mounting holes to remove dirt and residual adhesive. Next, align the clip with the pre-drilled hole in the mudguard lining and the vehicle body, then press the clip vertically into the hole. Apply even pressure with your palm until you hear a "click" sound. Finally, double-check that the clip is fully seated to prevent misalignment and looseness. Once properly installed, the process is complete.
